Information Scientist in Berlin, Deutschland

As Librarian I am working at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz, and I am pleased to guide visitors through the Baroque Revival State Library building Unter den Linden. As second job I am peer mentor for addiction issues.

Still in advanced education as Trauma therapist at Arche medica, I am additionally going to become involved as an Alternative Mental Health Expert.

In my spare time I function as a Neigbourhood Council Member at Quartiermanagement Wassertorplatz / Berlin-Kreuzberg, and it´s a great pleasure to honorarily welcome immigrants.

At Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin I studied Library and Information Science (M.A. LIS) with emphasis on Information literacy, Semantic Web and the curation of a library- and digital exhibition based on Herwarth Waldens avant-gardist Sturm-Archiv.

In Vienna I have been working at Prince Eugene of Savoys Baroque Belvedere Palaces, which are Austrian National Art Gallery. Within the scope of my responsibilities at Research Center I am proud that I have been able to contribute to the restitution of Gustav Klimts Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I., which is part of the collections of Neue Galerie (New York) now.

Further positions were at Kunsthalle Wien, Palais Dorotheum, Schönbrunn Palace and Hofburg. Extra–professionally I underwent trainings on Cultural- and Business Management and Human Rights.

I enjoyed a lot living in Leopoldstadt, formerly nicknamed "Matzo Island", close to Prater and Danube.

At Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck I studied Art History (Mag. phil.), Romance Studies, Europ. Ethnology and Medicine. My focus was on Gender Studies, Non-European Art, Modernism - Pablo Picasso in particular, Roman Baroque and Heraldry.

I jobbed at University of Innsbruck, Kunsthalle Tirol im Salzlager Hall, Kunstraum Innsbruck and Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik.

I graduated from an artistic high school with i.a. a paper about gastarbeiter, a cubist drawing and an Italian exam. In follow I did an Intercultural and -religious Sabbatical in Anatolia and India.

I have a passion for languages, travelling, different cultures and unusual contacts. I speak English and German fluently, have some knowledge - in ongoing learning processes - in Spanish, Italian, Russian and Turkish.
